Prof. Jianjun Ma, Beijing Institute of Technology, China
Jianjun Ma is a full professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology, and the deputy director of the Microwave and Terahertz Technology Research Institute. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University in 2015, and conducted postdoctoral research at Brown University in Prof. Daniel M. Mittleman’s lab in 2016. His research focuses on THz communication and channel sensing characteristics. He has made innovative contributions to eavesdropping detection and high-frequency multiplexing for underlying medium, pioneering reliable transmission of THz scattering channels and efficient utilization of directional beams. His research has been published in leading journals such as “Nature” and “Nature Communications”, and he has received the “First Prize of the Natural Science Award” from the China Communication Society. He has been invited to serve as an editorial board member for several SCI journals, conference committee chairman, a member of the First Terahertz Communication Committee of the China Communication Society, and a member of the Young Scientists Club of the China Electronics Society.
